Q1 How long will the Junior@Blue application period be open?
The application period will be open for approximately two weeks, start May 4, 06:00 hours until May 20, 17:00 hours.

Q2 Who can apply for Junior@Blue?
Junior@Blue is for those pupils that today are in the 2nd grade of a university prepartion program at the Swedish "Gymnasiet".
There are two qualification criteria to apply to the Junior@Blue.
1 You are in the 2nd grade today and thus 3rd grade in August when the project starts.
2 You follow a university preparation program at the Swedish gymnasiet. (Ett studieförberedande program)

Q3 Which schools participate in Junior@Blue?
The following schools co-operate with IBM in Junior@Blue:
- Kunskapsgymnasiet in Kista
- IT-Gymnasiet in Sundbyberg
- Löfström gymnasiet in Solna
- Tensta Gymnasium in Stockholm-Tensta
Q4 My school is not on the list, can I still apply for Junior@Blue?
If you fulfill the basic criteria in Q2, you may, however we first look to find candidates in the participating schools. If there are still seats available we take applicants from other schools into consideration.

Q5 How often will the Junior@Blue application process run?
The application process for the Junior@Blue is new for 2009. We will evaluate the program in November to see if the Junior@Blue will be run again in 2010.

Q6 How long do I have to wait for a response to my application?
Notification of selection or decline will be distributed approximately within 2 weeks after the application closes.
The first 100 applicants will be read on a first come first serve basis, any next applicant when seats are not filled

Q7 Will my school have a role in the application?
Yes, in two ways. First, after you submit your application we will check to see if your basic data on the school and program you follow are factual. The second way your school plays a role in the application is to help us evaluate in those cases we have more suitable candidates then there are seats available.

Q8 How do I know IBM has received my application?
You will receive an email confirmation to the emailaddress you added to the application tool.

Q9 If I am not selected to the Junior@Blue will I be told why?
Due to the expected high volume of applications we can not guarantee feedback on individual applications.

Q10 The application asks about participation in out of school activities. Which activities qualify?
Any out of school activity will qualify, this is not a matter of right or wrong, more a way to see or form a picture of who you are.

Q11 Can I choose which team I get assigned to?
No. Applicants are not provided with that option.

Q12 Junior@Blue is in my free time, can this be counted as school project time?
This is for your individual school to answer. Please contact your school for that information.

Q13 Is Junior@Blue free of charge?
There are no costs involved for the participants.
Lunch will be provided for all full days at IBM.
The participating schools provide their pupils with bus cards to be able to travel to the IBM location.
